1. bir tool albumu ve albumdeki sarkilardan biri.*
   black then white are all i see in my infancy.
   red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
   lets me see.
   as below, so above and beyond, i imagine
   drawn beyond the lines of reason.
   push the envelope. watch it bend.
   
   over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
   withering my intuition, missing opportunities and i must
   feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.

   lets me see there is so much more and
   beckons me to look thru to these infinite possibilities.
   as below, so above and beyond, i imagine
   drawn beyond the lines of reason.

   feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line.
   reaching out to embrace the random.

   i embrace my desire to
   feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow
   to weep like a widow, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty,
   to bathe in the fountain,
   to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human.
   
   with my feet upon the ground i lose myself
   between the sounds and open wide to suck it in.
   i feel it move across my skin.
   i'm reaching up and reaching out.
   i'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
   and following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
   we'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.
   spiral out. keep going.

4. heceler + davul ritmlerinin matematiksel bir kurala gore yazilip inanilmaz bi guzellikte uygulandigi tool saheseri.. davul sirtinda yuruyen bir eser , nitekim danny carey'e nice oduller kazandirmistir bu eser o hayvani davulu sayesinde .. davullar ve heceler 1'den baslamis ve daha sonra gelicek sayinin kendinden onceki iki sayinin toplami kadar olmasi sartiyla uygulanmistir *.. yani davul ; dim(1)-dim(1)-dimdim(2)-dimdimdim(3)-dimdimdimdimdim(5)- 8 - 13 seklinde giderken maynard'in vokali de davula senkronize olarak ; black(1)-and(1)-white are(2)- all i see(3) - in my infancy(5) - 8 - 13 seklinde titretir gonul telimizi .. lezizdir her tool sarkisi gibi , uzundur ama sikmaz adami , introsu da yarmistir ayrica..

5. gectim maynard'in ilahi vokalini ne biliyim icindeki sarkilarin bu dunyaya ait olmayislarini , ozgunlugunu , sozlerinin asmisligini , biraktim onlari bir kenara ; fakat davul nasil konusturulur , davulda asmislik kavrami nasil tanimlanir , davul sarkinin aksesuari degil de sarkinin bel kemigi nasil yapilir ? gibi sorularin cevabini merak edenlerin mutlaka ve mutlaka edinmesi gereken tool albumu . zira bu basyapit dinlendikten sonra da yeni bir soru kurcalamaya baslar beyninizi : danny carey insan midir ?

6. death metal ile cosup,black metalle nefret yuklenirken dinledigimde hicbir sey yapamadigim,zihinsel ve bedensel tum faaliyetlerimi durduran,sadece kendisini dinlettiren album.enstrumanlardaki teknigin uzerine psikopat bir ruh gecirilmis ve derinlik serpilmis.

8. aenema kadar sevmesem de tool'u tool yapan albümdür. matematiksel zekan?n da (bkz: danny carey) üst düzeyde oldu?u bir albümdür. mutlaka dinlenmelidir, hatta nasa n?n bu albümü uzaya göndermesi gerekmektedir!
